When Christmas Carols met Bagpipes

St Andrews Pipe Band once again was invited to lead the annual  “Light up Netley” Lantern Parade. We led the Parade to the Library for the big ‘light switch on’, then onto Netley Court Care Home, finishing at St Edward’s Church.

There was a distinct Christmassy feel in the air, a great little a preschool choir, singing , Jazz as well as St Andrews Pipe Band playing a selection of Christmas carols on the bagpipes. Yes it sounded great!

Bagpipes and drums all dressed in their Christmas attire, lights and tinsels, yes , kilts too but also Christmas jumpers and Santa hats. Now, you don't often see that combination!
